About Me

A Little Bit About Me

Academically, I have an honours degree in Industrial Psychology, and have advanced certification in life coaching practice. I have also completed short course training in suicide counselling, conflict resolution and mediation.

I have had a professional career in various management roles, during which I also volunteered or worked professionally in a number of helping professions, including Lifeline crisis counselling, youth counselling and homeless counselling. In all my professional years in business, I was similarly involved in team leadership, one-to-one coaching, conflict resolution and mediation with colleagues and teams.

It was only in the last 7 or so years, after my own period of crisis, self-discovery and personal growth, that I came to understand that this coaching role is actually at the very centre of who I was made to be.

It is my deepest passion and where my natural, core skills lie. I therefore formally stepped into the role of personal life coach in 2021, and have been exteremely grateful, to say the least, for the perspective shifts, brave decision making and personal growth I've witnessed in my clients' lives.

I live in the Mangawhai area on a beautiful farm with my wife, four children and 3 dogs. I have always had a love for the ocean, so in my free time I'm either surfing or just swimming in the sea on the flatter days.
